About this calculator

The Daily Pomodoros Calculator determines how many 25-minute focus sessions are needed to reach a total work time. Simply input the total minutes you want to track, and it will calculate the required Pomodoros, rounding up if there are remaining minutes.

It works by dividing the total time by 25, treating each Pomodoro as a 25-minute continuous block. For example: 100 minutes yield exactly 4 Pomodoros, while 105 minutes result in 5 (since 5x25 = 125, ensuring full coverage).

Useful for planning studies, work projects, or household tasks with the Pomodoro Technique. It helps optimize productivity by organizing focused work intervals and strategic breaks.

Note: this tool assumes standard 25-minute Pomodoros. If your routine uses different durations (e.g., 30 minutes), adjust manually or multiply the result by 25 to verify the total time.

Frequently asked questions

How is the number of Pomodoros calculated?

The total time is divided by 25 minutes. If there's a remainder, it's rounded up to ensure full coverage.

Can I use it for Pomodoros with durations other than 25 minutes?

Not directly. This tool uses 25 minutes by default. For custom durations, adjust manually or divide the total time by your chosen length.

What if the time is less than 25 minutes?

It rounds up to 1 Pomodoro to account for any residual time.

Does it include breaks between Pomodoros?

No. The calculator tracks only active work time (25 minutes per Pomodoro). Breaks should be calculated separately.

Can I use it to plan tasks with specific time goals?

Yes, it's ideal. For example: 3 hours (180 minutes) result in 7 Pomodoros (7x25 = 175) with 5 minutes remaining.
