Terms of Use

Complete terms of use of the UtilizAí platform, rights and obligations of user and provider.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using UtilizAí ("service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any clause, do not use the service.

These terms form a contract between you ("user") and UtilizAí ("we"), constituting the entire agreement regarding use of the platform.

2. Description of the service

UtilizAí offers free and paid digital tools for Brazilians: document validators, converters, calculators, generators, queries to public databases and various utilities. Most tools run locally in your browser, without sending data to servers.

3. Registration and user account

  • Registration is optional for most tools.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities on your account.
  • You must provide truthful, accurate and updated information.
  • Creating accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization is prohibited.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans, pricing and payment

  • Paid plans (Pro, Business, Enterprise) are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Prices and limits of each plan are on the Pricing page.
  • Billing is recurring until you cancel via the "My account" area.
  • Cancellation stops renewal but keeps paid access until the end of the current period.
  • Right of withdrawal: for the first subscription, you have 7 calendar days for a full refund (art. 49 of the Consumer Protection Code), from the date of the first charge.
  • Upgrades are applied immediately with prorated billing; downgrades take effect from the next cycle.
  • Applicable taxes may be added to the base price according to your location.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to not:

  • Use generated CPF, CNPJ or other documents for fraud, ideological falsehood or harm to third parties.
  • Conduct automated scraping at scale, rate-limit bypass or any resource abuse.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or create derivative works of the service code without authorization.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Send malware, spam, illegal content or content that violates third-party rights.
  • Intentionally overload the infrastructure or interfere with others' use.
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose under Brazilian law.

Non-compliance may lead to immediate account suspension, without proportional refund, and applicable legal measures.

6. Tools as reference, not as decisions

Calculators (labor law, social security, income tax, BMI, financial, etc.) and validators are provided as educational and utilitarian tools. Results do not replace:

  • Legal, accounting or tax opinions issued by a qualified professional.
  • Professional medical assessment.
  • Investment decisions or personalized financial recommendations.
  • Official documents issued by a competent authority.

Use results as estimates and reference. For decisions with material impact, consult a qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

  • Source code, design, the "UtilizAí" brand, texts and interface are property of UtilizAí or its licensors.
  • Nothing in these terms grants you a license over the brand or the code.
  • Public data (ZIP codes, company registries, exchange rates, holidays) belong to their official sources. We merely intermediate access.
  • Educational texts in the tools may be cited with credit and a link to the source page.

8. Availability and modifications

  • We strive to keep the service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance with or without prior notice.
  • We may change, discontinue or add tools at any time.
  • Material changes to paid plans will be communicated 30 days in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

Within the maximum permitted by Brazilian law (including the Consumer Protection Code), UtilizAí is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on tool results.
  • Unavailability of third-party APIs (BrasilAPI, ViaCEP, CoinGecko, etc.) that impact queries.
  • Indirect damages, lost profits or data losses arising from use of the service.
  • Content of ads displayed via Google AdSense (advertisers and Google are responsible).

UtilizAí's total liability in any claim is limited to the amount effectively paid by you in the last 12 months, where applicable.

10. Advertising (AdSense)

We display Google AdSense ads to keep the service free. Advertising cookies may be used to personalize ads, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalized ads through Google's ad settings.

11. Privacy and personal data

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with Law 13,709/2018 (LGPD).

12. Account termination

You may terminate your account at any time via "My account" or by email at contato@utilizaí.com. Termination takes effect within 48 business hours. Data is deleted according to the retention policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, by email (if you have an account) or by a highlighted notice on the homepage. Continued use of the service after changes take effect implies acceptance.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in particular the Consumer Protection Code (Law 8,078/1990), the Civil Framework of the Internet (Law 12,965/2014) and the General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018).

The venue of the consumer user's place of residence is elected to resolve any controversy arising from these terms, pursuant to art. 101, I, of the Consumer Protection Code.
