Interestingly, the name Evija derives from a Sanskrit word meaning "the essence of life" or "vital energy," a reference to electric propulsion. The car was also the first production vehicle to feature a fully carbon-ceramic disc brake system with monoblock calipers, designed to withstand the extremely high temperatures generated by combined regenerative braking. Active aerodynamics include an adjustable front splitter and a rear diffuser that moves in conjunction with the rear wing, optimizing airflow across different driving modes.
