About this calculator
The ENEM Score Calculator (weighted by course) computes the weighted average of your five ENEM scores (Natural Sciences, Human Sciences, Languages, Mathematics, and Essay) according to the weights defined by the target course and university in SISU, PROUNI, or FIES. Unlike a simple arithmetic mean, this tool accounts for the different importance of each subject for your desired vacancy. Simply enter your scores and the corresponding weights to get the final average.
The calculation uses the formula: final score = (score1 * weight1 + score2 * weight2 + score3 * weight3 + score4 * weight4 + score5 * weight5) / (sum of weights). For example, if a Civil Engineering course assigns weight 3 to Mathematics, 2 to Natural Sciences, and 1 to the others, the calculator applies these weights automatically. The result is a number between 0 and 1000, representing your weighted score for that course.
Use this calculator to simulate different weight combinations for courses and universities before applying to SISU or PROUNI. It helps identify which ENEM subjects have the greatest impact on your final score, allowing you to focus your studies where most needed. It is also useful for comparing chances across different course options.
Caution: ensure the weights are correct and up-to-date, as each institution sets its own criteria. Remember that cutoff scores vary each year, so use the result as a reference, not a guarantee. The calculator does not consider regional bonuses or affirmative action policies.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the weights for my course in SISU?
The weights are provided on the SISU website or the university's page. They are usually in the selection process notice or course description.
Can I use this calculator for PROUNI?
Yes, PROUNI also uses course-specific weights. Just enter the weights indicated by the desired institution.
What if I don't have a score in a subject?
If you missed a test, enter 0. The average will be calculated using the weights of the subjects with scores, but this significantly lowers your final score.
Is the SISU cutoff score the same as my weighted score?
No, the cutoff is the lowest score among admitted students in the regular call. Your weighted score is used for ranking, but the cutoff varies by applicant pool.
